- We do not require account registration to use the app.
- Camera is used only when the scan screen is actively open.
- Scan history is stored on your device only — never on our servers.
- Anonymous crash reports and analytics are collected to improve the app.
- We do not sell personal data to any third party.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide scanning and AI analysis features.
- To improve app performance and fix bugs.
- To show ads in the free version via Google AdMob.
3. Camera and Storage Permissions
- Camera: Only accessed when the scan screen is open. Never accessed in the background.
- Storage: Only used to save QR codes or PDFs that you explicitly choose to save.
4. AI Processing
- Extracted text from scans may be sent to the Google Gemini API for AI analysis.
- Only plain text is sent — your original images are never uploaded.
- AI results are shown only to you and are not stored on our servers.
5. Advertising
- The free version uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
- AdMob may use device identifiers for ad personalization.
- Pro subscribers see no advertisements.

7. Data Security
- All API calls use HTTPS encryption.
- We do not maintain a server-side database of user scans.
8. Children's Privacy
QR AI Scanner is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your Rights
- You can delete your scan history at any time from the Settings tab.
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored app data from your device.
